Road Trip: C-Springs to Connecticut

My mom and I are over 800 miles into our cross country treck. Yesterday I picked my mom up at the airport and we took off. We got over 200 miles under our belts before calling it a night in Colby, Kansas. There wasn't much there except a few hotels and a Starbucks (thank goodness). The views were rather boring except for a couple sunflower fields that were nice on the eyes. Today we hit the road hard and made it to St. Louis, Missouri. We got into town in time to got to the Arch and ride up to the top of it. They herded way too many people into tiny little cars and took us up to the top where it was a little shaky and stuffy. But the view and the experience was worth it for sure. Pictures will get posted sometime when the internet is faster. My mom was so brave, she even looked out the windows at the top (she's way scared of heights). Ok, time for bed, tomorrow is going to be another long one.
